One of the most beautiful thing you’ll be able to see in your life is a northern light, the famous aurora borealis. As its name says it all, it takes place in the great north of the World. Or the great south, and that is Antarctica. Not really easy to go so far south. But, it’s more easier to go north than you think. There are northern lights all year long, but as you can watch it only by night, the season is open only from around October to May. And so it’s cold outside in the great north at this time. Think about Canada, Alaska, Russia, Scandinavia, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland etc. What comes immediately to your mind? Snow, winter, cold conditions, beautiful landscapes and, of course, northern lights.
You’ll need a nice hotel. And so here is one hotel in Finland that has something very different than others: glass igloos to let you watch aurora borealis all night long!
